About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute position is a full-time NOC role located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to their care. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting wellness, health education, and clearly documenting patient activities. The CNA is responsible for adult and geriatric patients' personal hygiene, ADLs, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, and the use of incentive spirometers, while providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients. They also provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.

Requirements

  • Current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities
