About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute position is a full-time NOC role located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities. The role involves ensuring adult and geriatric patients' personal hygiene, ADLs, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assisting patients with TC and DB, and the use of incentive spirometers while providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Additionally, the CNA provides emotional support to patients and documents their interventions.

Requirements

• Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Promote wellness and health education
• Document patient activities clearly
• Ensure personal hygiene for adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Apply ice bags and K-Pads as needed
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and the use of incentive spirometers
