Provide direct and indirect patient care within any clinical area under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Provide one-on-one observation of selected patients for the purpose of maintaining patient safety.
Assist with nursing care of the patients.
Assist in maintaining supply inventory.
Participate in educational programs.
Maintain satisfactory communications.
Maintain an employment record in accordance with Hospital policies.
Demonstrate knowledge of Hospital safety.
Perform other duties as required.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Louisiana is required
