This role is equal parts service professional and client experience specialist. You'll deliver high-quality waxing services, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a studio culture where everyone is invested in shared success. Requirements

Current Florida Esthetician or Cosmetologist license
At least 18 years of age
Coachability — genuine openness to learning our specific techniques, even if you have prior waxing experience
Willingness to unlearn previous habits and follow our standards consistently — not just during training
Ability to create a warm, welcoming experience for clients with varying personalities, including nervous or guarded first-timers
Emotional intelligence and professionalism when handling difficult client interactions
Team-first attitude — pitching in on cleaning, events, or studio needs without being asked
Reliability and schedule stability — your teammates and clients count on you being there
Comfort with social media for beauty-related content

Nice To Haves

Experience in consultative sales, beauty retail, or membership-based environments
Demonstrated ability to recommend products or services in a way that builds trust rather than pressure
Comfort having natural, confident conversations about memberships, packages, and enhancements
Track record of building loyal client relationships and a consistent book of business

Responsibilities

Actively recommend memberships or service packages, and retail products through consultative, client-first conversations
Build and retain a personal book of clients through strong rebooking habits and relationship-building
Perform waxing services in accordance with Waxing the City training, protocols, and quality standards
Conduct thorough consultations and follow up to ensure client comfort, safety, and excellent results
Educate clients on services, aftercare, and enhancement options in a way that feels helpful, not salesy
Maintain clean, stocked, and professional treatment rooms at all times
Participate in studio marketing efforts, including creating or participating in social media content and community events
Follow all sanitation, safety, and operational procedures without exception
Show up prepared, on time, and ready to contribute to a team-first environment
Receive feedback professionally, apply it consistently, and continue growing
