HCA Florida Ocala Health System offers an opportunity for a Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeon to join the region's leading neuroscience program. The position focuses on non-trauma Neurosurgery with a Cerebrovascular emphasis, providing robust stroke exposure and the chance to create an elective vascular practice, including complex vascular pathology such as aneurysms, AVMs, cavernous malformations, carotids, and direct/indirect bypass. The vascular case volumes at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital are competitive with regional academic medical centers, offering opportunities for both open and endovascular cases. The incoming physician will have the ability to build an elective practice located in a 10,000 square foot office close to the hospital, with offsite EMR and imaging database access from home, office, and hospital. The hospital serves as a tertiary center with transfers from multiple outside hospitals in other counties and provides opportunities to work with residents and engage in academic research through the University of Central Florida.
