About The Position

As a Cereal Packing Mechanic you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of industrial packaging machinery and equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, leading repairs and modifications, performing preventative maintenance, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, as well as assisting in employee training.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to read machine prints, troubleshoot, and work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Previous high speed packaging equipment maintenance and/or operation preferred.
• Controls and/or electrical experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
