About The Position
The Ceramic Tile Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of all floor surfaces in accordance with PISD standards. This position requires a high level of skill in flooring installation and repair, particularly with ceramic tile and vinyl composition tile. The technician will also assist in the installation of various flooring types and coordinate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as necessary. The role involves preparing cost estimates for projects and responding to occasional after-hour emergencies. The technician must also be willing to become a licensed asbestos worker and assist other crafts as needed.
