About The Position

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives. About Goodstart Preston Dalgety Street: * 122 Place Centre with larger kinder resource budget * Purpose built centre close to public transport * Our centre offers plenty of onsite parking and is near to local schools, shops * You will lead our longstanding team of diverse Educators who work hard to ensure children in our care are safe, well-supervised and challenged in their in learning on a daily basis
Requirements
- A Diploma in early childhood education
- Must have previous experience managing a big centre and have capacity to build external partnerships and business sense to drive occupancy and growth
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
Responsibilities
- Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
- Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
- Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
