About The Position

The Centralized Scheduling Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective scheduling of resources, such as personnel, equipment, and facilities, to meet the demands of a department. This involves analyzing historical data and forecasting future demand, as well as developing staffing plans and schedules that optimize the use of available resources. The Centralized Scheduling Planner monitors employee productivity and attendance, adjusting staffing levels and schedules as needed to ensure that service levels are met. Planners are responsible for accurate reporting, recording, and tracking FMLA, tracking refusals/turndowns of shifts, schedule attendance infractions and department policy infractions. Planners produce and track progressive discipline documentation for performance feedback and ensure all Union and contract rules are accurately applied to any requests. Planners make use of all applications available to track and properly record information related to departments and employees. Planners maintain employee folders (paper and electronically) and provide information to HR and Departments as necessary.
