About The Position

Responsible for scheduling resources to outpatient primary care or specialty offices. Accurately documents in the medical record and scheduling system. Schedules appointments across the Medical Group and follows up on referrals to ensure continuum of care. Works collaboratively with nursing coordinator to coordinate care. Serves all of SJH Medical Group.

Requirements

• Completion of an Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Proficiency with highly technical clerical tasks specific to the area of work at the expert level.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system preferred.
• Experience working in a provider's office preferred.
