The Centralized Processing Manager at Goodwill North Central Texas is responsible for the selection, training, and management of personnel. This role ensures that employees understand work rules and addresses inappropriate activities or behaviors immediately, coordinating corrective action plans with department heads and/or Human Resources as appropriate. The manager will communicate with the leadership team and conduct monthly employee meetings, attend all required meetings and training, and direct and delegate work within the department, including the leadership team (assistants, supervisors, and leads). The position also involves evaluating employee performance and driving professional development while complying with all agency policies, including standard operating procedures and safety policies. The manager implements and administers strategies for fiscal and personnel scheduling to maximize resources in the Centralized Processing Department, leads and troubleshoots POS systems, maintains proficiency in all workstations, and ensures accurate and timely maintenance of company records and reports. The role is accountable for reporting, such as payroll and daily production versus goal reports, and must meet department production goals while operating within budgetary guidelines. Additionally, the manager oversees the daily maintenance and care of the department location to provide a safe, secure, and orderly area for clients, visitors, and employees, ensuring that all safety and first aid training requirements and related reporting are met.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in previous employment.
  • Ability to adapt and manage change.
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate clearly.
  • Experience coaching/training and guiding peers or team members with disabilities.
  • Proven computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use computerized pricing and inventory equipment.
