Role Overview The Centralized Business Banking Manager (CBBM) is a leadership role responsible for leading and developing a high‑performing phone- based team of Business Banking Relationship Advisors (BBRAs). The CBBM is accountable for their teams strong sales performance through a collaborative portfolio model while ensuring disciplined risk management and adherence to Bank of America’s Responsible Growth principles. This role requires a strategic, people‑focused leader who can inspire excellence, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and integrity. The CBBM drives the bank’s presence within the community by delivering holistic financial solutions to business clients.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven success consistently leading a sales team or individual contributor sales success, with a demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards
  • Strong coaching capabilities with a proven track record of effective pipeline and performance management
  • Demonstrated business acumen in serving business clients, including deposits, credit, treasury, cash management, payroll, and related financial solutions
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across all organizational levels
  • Professional executive presence and strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build collaborative internal and external partnerships and resolve conflict effectively
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of sales management and leadership experience within financial services
  • 3–5 years of business‑to‑business or financial services sales experience
  • Demonstrated success leading, motivating, and developing teams in a client‑focused environment
  • Proven track record of strong customer satisfaction results
  • Experience owning or working directly with small business owners

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Banking Relationship Advisors to achieve and exceed growth, revenue, and client experience goals
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management, sales execution, and performance accountability
  • Ensure strong risk management practices and adherence to regulatory and policy requirements
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Partner effectively across lines of business to deliver comprehensive financial solutions for business clients
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and ethical behavior extending beyond direct reports to cross functional partners.
  • Model professional executive presence and represent Bank of America with credibility and confidence
