About The Position

As a Centralized Admissions Coordinator at Eden East , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient admission process for our communities. You will be responsible for a range of tasks that contribute to the success of our organization and the satisfaction of our residents and their families.

Requirements

  • Should have experience in skilled nursing in Pennsylvania, preferably in admissions.
  • Should be residing in Pennsylvania
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 3 years experiences in skilled nursing admissions is required
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer systems (Point Click Care) and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and insurance processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Referral Review: Thoroughly and promptly review all incoming referrals, ensuring accuracy and completeness in clinical and financial documentation.
  • Background Checks : Conduct and review criminal background checks on potential residents, adhering to all applicable regulations and policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Verify and evaluate financial information, including primary insurances and Medicaid eligibility, to determine the financial viability of admissions.
  • CRM Management : Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with lead information and manage leads effectively.
  • Prior Authorizations: Initiate and oversee the prior authorization process when necessary, working closely with healthcare providers and payers.
  • Document Management : Upload all admission-related documents into the designated system and ensure timely notification to the accepting facility.
  • Provide direction to liaison/s for on-site or additional information needed
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management to support the smooth functioning of the admissions process.
