Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience or successful completion of a Monitor Technician course at any hospital facility.
• Excellent communication skills and competent working with a team that includes nurses, cardiologists, and various other medical staff.
• Strong written, verbal, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• The Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring and interpreting the rhythm patterns of patients' hearts as well as reporting any irregularities or variations to the appropriate nursing and medical staff.
