About The Position

The Central Supply Technician at Loretto Management Corporation is responsible for maintaining inventory and stock levels in the Central Supply storage area, ensuring that equipment and medical supplies are delivered to designated areas. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to health and safety regulations, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or ability to pass a written TABE test.
• Knowledge of purchasing functions, procurement, and inventory control practices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or nursing background is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Basic math skills necessary.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written directions.
• Good customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office programs with the ability to learn new software rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and stock levels in the Central Supply storage area.
• Deliver equipment and medical supplies to designated resident care and other areas.
• Promote and role model the mission, values, vision, and strategic goals of Loretto in all interactions.
• Demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills.
• Exhibit excellent work attendance, reliability, and work ethics.
• Attend and actively participate in required meetings and training sessions.
• Comply with established policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Practice and teach safety awareness, identifying and reporting safety or environmental issues.
• Understand HIPAA and other compliance & regulatory requirements associated with the role.
