About The Position
Job Summary: Central Supply Tech I The Central Supply Technician is responsible for issuing all supplies as requested and timely completing the appropriate data entry for issues and returns. The Central Supply Technician I is responsible for issuing and delivering all medical supplies and equipment as requested. The CS tech is also responsible for maintaining set par-levels at various inventory locations throughout the hospital. Job Summary: Central Supply Tech II The Central Supply Technician II is responsible for issuing all supplies as requested and timely completing the appropriate data entry for issues and returns. The Central Supply Technician II is responsible for issuing and delivering all medical supplies and equipment as requested. The CS Tech II is also responsible for maintaining set par-levels at various inventory locations throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- Customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- PC and Printer
- Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Central Supply Tech I: 6 months of hospital work, preferably in central service or materials management experience
- Central Supply Tech II: 1 year central service or materials management experience
Nice To Haves
- Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Certification preferred (Central Supply Tech I)
- Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Certification required (Central Supply Tech II)
- Meditech experience a plus
