About The Position

Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Materials Management, the Central Supply Supervisor performs the day to day functions and activities in the Central Supply department as required, and runs the day-to-day operations of the department. The Central Supply Supervisor serves as the main contact for all communications relative to the Central Supply department. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Oversees the staff in the Central Supply department Trains all new department staff Responsible for the Central Supply staff's daily schedule Arranges daily staffing needs Ensures both Central and hospital employees are compliant with the department regulations (proper attire, no food and drink, etc.) Has the authority to direct and support employees daily work activities. Has authority to undertake or recommend the following employment actions: hiring, termination, corrective action and performance reviews. Direct Reports: 2-4 Indirect Reports: None

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-1 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience required
  • Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Nice To Haves

  • A year or more of experience as a Central Supply Supervisor or equivalent in training preferred.
