AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Central Supply Coordinator that is responsible for the assistance in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and develops standard specifications. Supervises storage, control, and issuance of materials, and maintains contact with Corporate Supply Chain Department, supply sources, sales representatives, to keep informed of price trends, documents and keep track of facility budget, backorders and availability of supply, new items and reliability of suppliers. Receives and verifies all incoming supplies and materials delivered weekly. Maintains good working relationships within the hospital and provides excellent customer service. Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • 1-3 years experience in central supply/materials management, preferably with hospital experience
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Demonstrates and ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations
  • Strong time management, planning and multi-tasking skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal and human relation skills
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
