Our Nursing home facility is looking for a Central Supply Coordinator. The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner based on the needs of the facility and in accordance with policy and procedure. This role is crucial in ensuring that the nursing home operates smoothly by maintaining an adequate supply of necessary items and equipment. The coordinator will work closely with various departments to assess their supply needs and ensure timely delivery of items. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage inventory effectively, ensuring that all supplies are accounted for and in good condition. The Central Supply Coordinator will also be responsible for cleaning and checking equipment as directed, maintaining supply and storage rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, and ensuring that all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase order. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare, sign, and submit all purchase orders properly, deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed, and report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor. This role may also involve other duties as assigned, making it a dynamic position within the facility.
