About The Position

Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Central Supply Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering medical supplies, and ensuring all departments are adequately stocked to support patient care. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining smooth daily operations within a healthcare setting. Position: Central Supply Clerk The Central Supply Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the Nursing Staff has all the necessary medical supplies they need. The Central Supply Clerk receives and verifies medical supplies coming to the facility; records information for reordering, stocks and accounts for medical supplies and billing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and transport supplies as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in central supply, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with medical supplies and equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory tracking software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of medical and non-medical supplies.
• Order, receive, and distribute supplies while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Track supply usage and adjust ordering to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Work closely with nursing and administrative staff to fulfill supply requests promptly.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of all supplies to maintain compliance with facility regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and update supply records accordingly.
• Collaborate with vendors and negotiate pricing to maintain cost-effective purchasing.
• Assist in budget management for supply procurement.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines when handling medical supplies.
