Job Summary: To decontaminate, clean, repackage, sterilize and provide instruments, equipment and supplies to operating room and other units in the hospital. Assists in managing inventory efficiently and effectively which includes ordering or indication when supplies are needed, receiving and stocking incoming materials, vendor trays, orthopedic hardware and sterilization supplies. Coordinating efforts with the surgical team to ensure that trays and instrumentation are available at the right time for the right case.
