About The Position
Central Sterile Technician - Central Sterile Supply - FT Nights NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital, in Bronxville, NY, is one of the newest members of the NewYork-Presbyterian network. Join our team as a Central Sterile Technician, working alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. This is a full time night shift covering the hours of 11:00pm - 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and previous CSP experience
- National CS/SPD Certification
- Good communication and organizational skills
