Requirements
- Equal to completion of high school plus additional courses or training.
- Requires successful completion of a Central Service training course with certification within two (2) years of employment.
- Limited computer skills are required.
- Must have Central Services Certification within two (2) years of employment.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision of the Nurse Manager or Designee, perform a variety of duties including process, sterile and distribute instruments and other supplies in a clean condition.
- Responsible for ensuring that all items processed for sterilization have met the criteria before leaving the department.
- Perform other related duties as required including periodic off-site training.
