About The Position

Oneida Health Hospital is looking for a full-time Materials Handler in its Central Sterile Department. The position would be an 8 hour evening position. This position is responsible for maintaining and distributing a variety of necessary equipment used in patient care, including the disinfection of equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team and understand the importance of hospital equipment cleanliness.
Hourly range: $16 - $18/hour

Processing and maintaining a variety of equipment used in patient care throughout the facility.
Receiving, issuing, and maintaining inventory supplies through the use of computer software.
Maintaining Inventories and stocking supplies in all clinical areas of the hospital.
Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the Central Supply storeroom and Sterile Processing rooms as well as the storage areas in each clinical area.
Stocking specialty carts with the necessary equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team and understand the importance of hospital equipment cleanliness.
