About The Position

Central State Hospital, through Whitestone Healthcare, is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients in a forensic/psychiatric facility. The role may involve supervising the work of others and acting as Charge Nurse/Shift Supervisor when needed. Nurses will work under general supervision, with moderate latitude for initiative and independent nursing judgment. Responsibilities include performing basic and complex nursing tasks to fulfill the health needs of individuals, including the collection of lab work and other health screenings. It is essential to keep informed of and follow all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must pass Drug Screen and Fingerprint Background.
• Active Nursing License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current TB test (Chest X-ray required if positive).
• Current Physical examination.
• Current Flu Vaccination (waiver available).
• Nursing Diploma or Official College Transcripts.

Responsibilities

Benefits

• $40/hr. (local)
• Paid every Friday
• Insurance available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
