We are currently seeking a Central Services Representative to join our team remotely. The Central Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, coordinating the intake process for a broad range of health or social service programs. This role ensures timely and accurate triage, data entry, and referral of inquiries to appropriate departments or service providers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare, administration, or customer service
  • A passion for people and exceptional customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and a quick learner who thrives in a busy clinic
  • A team-first mindset and a solutions-focused approach
  • Comfort with digital tools, including attention to detail and accuracy in EMR systems, documentation and virtual care (training provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in a second language would be considered an asset.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare, such as working in a clinic or as a Patient Care Coordinator.
  • Knowledge of sleep disorders, particularly sleep apnea, understanding of polysomnography (sleep studies) and CPAP therapy

Responsibilities

  • Patients Engagement: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or electronic systems with professionalism and empathy.
  • Intake Processing: Collect and verify patient information, referral details, and service requirements.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input data into the client management system and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Coordination: Liaise with internal departments and external partners to facilitate service initiation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all intake procedures comply with organizational policies, privacy regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate issues or barriers to service in a timely manner.
