Job Summary The Central Service Technician I is responsible for maintaining the Central Service and Warehouse inventory, replenishing medical supplies, distributing clinical equipment and generating patient charges.

Requirements

  • None required.
  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
  • None required.
  • Good computer skills, with ability to learn multiple software systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of hospital and or related supply changing work experience.
  • Knowledge of hospital supplies and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Lawson inventory software and PYXIS automated supply station software.
  • None required.
