Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T.) from an approved Regulatory Agency.

Nice To Haves

• Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and procedures.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures.
• Understanding of infection control and workflow principles and requirements.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director/Supervisor of C.S.P.D. in daily operational activities of the Department.
• Manage the Department in the absence of the Director/Supervisor.
• Assist in the delivery of the Surgical Case Cart System.
• Assure the sterility of processed goods.
• Maintain par level inventory of sterile patient care items and keep adequate documentation.
• Assist in orientation of new employees and Continuing Education programs.
• Exhibit appropriate characteristics concerning attendance, punctuality, appearance and proper conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
