About The Position

To assist Director/Supervisor of C.S.P.D. in daily operational activities of the Department, and at times manage the Department in the absence of the Director/Supervisor. Assist in the delivery of the Surgical Case Cart System. Assure the sterility of processed goods. Maintains par level inventory of sterile patient care items and keeps adequate documentation. Assist in orientation of new employees and Continuing Education programs. Exhibit appropriate characteristics concerning attendance, punctuality, appearance and proper conduct. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T.) from an approved Regulatory Agency.
• Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and procedures.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control and workflow principles.
• Basic computer skills.
