Role Purpose Central Service Equipment (CSE) serves the hospital and clinics with sterile supply equipment and supplies along with wound vacs and supplies, traction and trapeze, and other miscellaneous 24/7/365. CSE is a 24/7/365 department. The lead tech position provides training and guidance to current and newly hired staff, assists supervisor when necessary and ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the department. In addition, the lead tech picks up and delivers instruments and trays on nursing divisions and delivers to CSPD for processing. They also deliver Epic orders for equipment and supplies as requested by the patient care units.
