About The Position
The Billing Representative is responsible for the day-to-day billing operations. The Billing Representative will serve as a resource to C.A.R.E. Clinic physicians, nurses, medical assistants, managers, and clinic staff in all insurance related issues. The Billing Representative will ensure that we are billing and collecting patients insurance appropriately. This position is responsible for compiling reports in regards to Accounts Receivables and ensuring that claims are paid in a timely manner. This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time.
