About The Position
The Centralized Scheduler is responsible for accurately scheduling patients across various systems for departments within the health system. This role involves confirming patient demographics, prescriptions and/or orders, insurance information, and providing necessary preps/instructions. The scheduler will perform a mini registration to check for eligibility and must possess knowledge of insurance rules. Additionally, this position requires answering incoming calls for all departments, directing and screening them accordingly, and reaching out to patients and providers as needed.
