About The Position

GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to ensure the Central Production Facility maintains strict standards of sanitation while limiting any cross contamination in production areas as products are produced. This person will be responsible to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all areas of the facility including production areas, shipping and receiving areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows established departmental policies and procedures Handle trash removal and disposal regularly throughout the day, including between production runs Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and stocked supplies Clean and disinfect breakroom areas, including tables, chairs, counters, microwaves, refrigerators, and sinks Perform routine and deep cleaning of production areas using proper cleaning chemicals and tools Ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned between products. Equipment can be cleaned in place or may require full breakdown done in the dish rooms. Operate sanitation equipment Complete required documentation such as allergen change over logs, chemical concentration logs, etc. Cleaning and handling of large equipment including blades, processing discs, hoses, etc. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable sanitation standards (e.g., OSHA, GMP, FDA if applicable) Complete daily sanitation logs, checklists, and documentation accurately Communicate any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Consistent and daily interaction with facility associates

  • A high school diploma or GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
