About The Position

Central Processing Technician will be trained in processing, storing, and distributing medical and surgical supplies and equipment. We are hiring for an evening position. Why Choose Good Samaritan? Responsibilities

  • Follow manufacturers recommendations and instructions for use with regards to cleaning and sterilization (1 & 4).
  • Follow all guidelines for quality assurance monitoring.
  • Adhere to evidence-based best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain the proper environment in the department including temperature, humidity and traffic control.
  • Adhere to proper attire including PPE.
  • Acquire and update professional education
  • Works closely with surgery for changes in instrument sets and procedures and keeps instrument lists current.
  • Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
  • Takes responsibility for FTE hours, documentation, and maintaining unit budget.
