The employee shall support Orange Coast Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. The Central Processing Technician is primarily responsible for providing support to the Operating Room through knowledge of surgical supplies and materials. The Central Processing Technician is responsible for the daily case supply picking. This position is accountable for the support of the effective PAR level maintenance.
Requirements
- Two (2) years acute care experience in Surgical Services required. In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for staff with strong healthcare education and associated experiential background.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques
- Ability to be at work and be on time.
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.

- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred
Responsibilities
