Central Processing Technicians have the opportunity to evolve an ever-changing department to provide services for the operating room, hospital floors and outside departments. What is a Central Processing Technician? CPT's play a vital role in assisting with prevention of infection by cleaning, sterilizing, processing, assembling, storing and distributing medical instruments. A great deal of precision is necessary to carry out this job effectively. If you are patient, detail-oriented, can take direction and prefer hands-on work, this is your opportunity to apply.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- retrieving and processing used instruments
- processing instruments with various chemicals to sterilize the instruments for future use
- ensuring the organization has an adequate inventory of instruments as needed
