Position Summary To identify and set up all hospital instrument trays, complete all sterilizing functions, and perform all sterilization procedures. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Central Service Technician course recognized by the New Jersey Department of Health. Experience One to two years Central Processing experience. Supervisor skills preferred. Skills National Central Service Technician Certification required. Basic math skills required. Effective communication skills to read, write, speak, and understand English required. Good customer relation, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work within time schedules, respond to customer needs, and complete job-related tasks. Supervision Exercised Functions as a team leader for CPD Aides and other non-technical personnel as directed.
