Central Processing Extern, Sterile Processing department, Full Time, Day
About The Position
Externs will train on the job and together with their preceptor will identify and set up all hospital instrument trays, complete all sterilizing functions, and perform all sterilization procedures. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled or completed The Valley Hospital Central Service Technician course
- Basic math skills
- Effective communication skills to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Good customer relation skills
- Analytical skills

- Time management skills
- Ability to work within time schedules
- Ability to respond to customer needs
- Ability to complete job-related tasks
