This position is on-site at our Salinas location. The Central Operations Supervisor’s primary objective is to provide excellent customer service to Bank customers and Bank employees by meeting or managing the expectations of the Bank’s clients. The individual should have a thorough knowledge of deposit operations and deposit products. The individual must have a solid understanding of payments (ACHs, checks, debit cards, and wire transfers). Review and update department procedures. Train new Central Operations employees. Assist the Central Operations Manager in preparing for annual audits. File unclaimed property reports with the California State Controller’s Office. Supervise Central Operations staff responsible for: Wire transfers Day-two exception processing ACH/check returns and adjustments Debit card processing, EFT settlement, and dispute filing Branch operations support General ledger (GL) and demand deposit account (DDA) daily reconciliation and monthly certification Account maintenance Dormant accounts IOLTAs (Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts) Client correspondence Levies and subpoenas Reconciliations All other day-to-day department tasks Perform other duties as assigned.
