Baptist Health is looking for a Central Materials Associate to our their team in Paducah, KY! This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of supplies and equipment essential for patient care within the healthcare facility. Duties include physical product or equipment receipt, accurate product storage, distribution, and maintaining inventory accuracy, within stringent ERP system guidelines. This role may also include cleaning and redistribution of patient portable equipment. Responsibilities

  • Fulfill requisitions and distribute supplies to various departments.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations and signatures for delivered items.
  • Assist with urgent department deliveries and prioritize requests to meet clinical needs promptly.
  • Receive/intake incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
  • Breakdown shipments and stage shipments for receipt into ERP system.
  • Put away supplies to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory control, maintaining accreditation storage requirements, for stock rotation, and expiration.
