As a CM Bakery Manager, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Bakery department, and get to know our Customers, and treat them to excellent service. Supervises a team of Partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Bakery Operations management.
  • Experience managing teams of at least 10 bakers.
  • Experience training new bakers to achieve proficiency.
  • Love of all things Bakery and a passion for food.
  • Successful completion of Central Market University.
  • Proficiency on computer systems.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
  • Proven ability to develop teams including delegating tasks.
  • Basic financial acumen and knowledge of financial terms.

Nice To Haves

  • Scratch Production experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Use independent judgment in making employment-related and business decisions.
  • Responsible for interviews, performance reviews and Partner feedback.
  • Train and develop Partners as well as writing department schedules.
  • Provide superior customer service and lead a team to provide high-level customer service.
  • Sell products for promotional and special events throughout the store.
  • Accountable for merchandising department to maximize sales.
  • Ensure product delivered to customers is of optimum quality and presentation.
  • Maintain multiple vendor relationships.
  • Work with other department managers to effectively deliver results.
  • Ensure compliance with government and company regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and manage product assortment, shrink, labor, and wrap expenses.
  • Conduct weekly forecasting and production planning for product assortment.
  • Oversee product ordering and inventory controls.
  • Generate new sales and maintain current client relationships.
