About The Position

As a Production Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging bulk high-quality food while maintaining food safety, cleanliness standards, and properly following recipes. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Food Handler permit.
  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a bulk or high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Ability to weigh and measure food accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Operate kitchen equipment such as large cooking equipment and warehouse equipment to cook food in large quantities.
  • Efficiently package food for delivery, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for bulk orders.
  • Monitor cooking processes and taste dishes to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging.
  • Assist in inventory control, including tracking ingredients and supplies, and notifying management of any shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of bulk orders.
