About The Position

The mission of Val Verde Unified School District is to create a positive environment that produces life-long learners who will become responsible, contributing citizens able to function in a culturally diverse society.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in institutional food service that has provided the applicant with the abovementioned knowledge and abilities.
  • Experience in lead or supervisory positions is desired.
  • Equivalent to completing a High School Diploma, supplemented by coursework or training in culinary arts preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Class C California driver's license.
  • ServSafe Food Safety Management Certification.
