The Central Intake Coordinator verifies patient insurance eligibility, verifies patient benefits and confirms if insurance is active in the Ohio Living network and answers home health and hospice services inquiries from potential patients and professional referral sources determining the services the patients' needs and then retaining them as a patient, partners with field staff in identifying service needs of current patients. The Central Intake Coordinator also maintains an accurate patient listing for all home health and hospice services in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
