About The Position

The Pharmacist at the Central Fulfillment (CF) site is responsible for conducting pharmacist verification in a closed-door pharmacy environment. The primary role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions in the Central Fill prescription filling system. The Pharmacist will serve as a leader to the shift team and partner with the site PIC/General Manager to provide direction for the teams. They will work in accordance with the Board of Pharmacy guidelines. The Pharmacist will assist the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with all quality assurance activities related to keeping patients safe and complying with all state and local regulations along with policies and procedures of the company. This position is based in Ridgefield, WA, and the shift arrangement is aligned to the 1st shift schedule (7:30am-4pm) Sunday-Thursday. A typical 40-hour workweek is expected. This is a salaried exempt position. The Pharmacist will be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians' work as regulated by the Board of Pharmacy and supporting the store pharmacy operations to achieve their planned business objectives. They will also assist in developing and implementing CF programs to help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume. The role requires ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and company policies and procedures, as well as assisting in the training and development of pharmacy staff. The successful candidate will confront complex pharmacy operational issues with situation-specific business solutions and will be expected to complete all required state, federal, and company training programs (i.e., HIPAA, CDR, I-pledge, etc.).
