About The Position

Central District Transit Lead –This role is a key member of the Central District team and is responsible for managing aspects related to the transit practice within the Central District of the South Region. This position will report to the Transportation South Operating Group Transit Director. Location: Nashville, TN; Louisville, KY Key Responsibilities: Serve as a technical lead, subject matter expert, project manager, program manager, or in a quality control role on an assortment of projects. Collaborate with the South Regional Area Managers, discipline managers, technical leads, the South Regional Transit Director, and national specialists to identify opportunities, build-up emerging markets, and enhance established markets. Project Management: Serve as project manager or task lead on transit-related projects, conduct pricing reviews and project reviews, define project delivery strategies, assist in growing staff resources. Work with area managers and project managers to improve profitability, cashflow, and accuracy of estimates to complete. Advocate and champion learning, staff recruitment, and project management best practices. Prepare special reports on key large-scale projects related to financial and technical performance and risks including financial mitigations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree; Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; Technical and business development knowledge of the Transit market, preferably hands-on experience as a Project Manager. Experience in management of staff and utilization performance. Significant experience managing small and large transit projects. Understanding of FTA procedures, guidance, and programs. Strong analytical skills and Microsoft excel, and database skills required. Strong communicator and collaborator with nationwide management team and clients. Strong time management, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Digital technology enthusiast and advocate.

Requirements
