About The Position

The Central Billing Coordinator at CliftonLarsonAllen is responsible for managing client billing and practice management for all services provided by the firm. This role involves collaboration with Client Relationship Leaders and engagement teams to ensure timely and accurate billing, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining billing records. The coordinator will also analyze billing trends and assist in revenue cycle management, contributing to the overall financial performance of the firm.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related administrative experience required.
  • High school degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Workday or similar PSA software is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is necessary.

  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and billing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and communicate with Client Relationship Leaders (CRLs) and engagement teams regarding billing expectations and job progress.
  • Analyze past billing and current trends to participate in billing discussions and suggest amounts to bill for standard and out of scope work.
  • Review billing information to identify discrepancies or errors and work with internal teams to correct them.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and files.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and trends related to client billing.
  • Process and monitor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit reports on billing activities and trends.
  • Assist in new client setup, data validation, and maintenance of Billing Schedules.
  • Monitor prepaid, installment, and scheduled bills for client WIP consumption.
  • Assist in communicating with clients and CRLs to resolve billing issues.
  • Support matters related to the entire revenue cycle, including AR posting and adjustments.
  • Follow up on aging A/R with engagement leaders and clients regarding large WIP jobs.
