Night shift Grinding Operator Department/ Area: Grind Position Summary: Candidates will be responsible to set-up and operate #2 size CINCINNATTI centerless grinding machine – run small batch of blanks on machine and coach trainees. Purpose: To prepare forged blank bolts into close tolerance machined parts ready for thread rolling, machine parts per process sketch following established procedures. Essential Functions: Install grinding and feed wheels on machine, position accessory tooling, balance, dress and adjust grinding wheel, using dresser with or without cams. Operate the machine. Visually and dimensionally check samples. Enter production and quality data in computer reporting system. Coaches a trainee and monitors quality for both. Daily tasks: Maintain work area organized with required tools, inspection gages and instructions. Monitor production data and report at end of task or shift. Weigh count piece production. Requirements

High School Diploma
Working Knowledge of machines and tools
Some advanced arithmetic skills required.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual is preferred.
