About The Position

To ensure the highest level of service possible to Outpost’s internal and external customers. Maintain well stocked, organized, attractive, and clean grocery shelves, displays, and aisles.

Responsibilities

  • Treat people fairly, consistently, and with respect.
  • Ensure efficient, informative, and friendly service according to established customer service vision and standards.
  • Handle customer questions and complaints.
  • Be knowledgeable of products to make recommendations to customers.
  • Stock deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Stock products from backstock to ensure rotated product.
  • Put remaining product away in backstock areas.
  • Record credits, losses, and transfers.
  • Front and face products.
  • Clean displays and fixtures.
  • Put up and maintain shelf labels and signs.
  • Set up endcaps, shippers, and other special displays.
  • Maintain proper product shelf space.
  • Advise grocery manager of equipment / replacement needs.
  • Follow safety guidelines in regards to lifting, cutting equipment, baler, pallet jack operation, etc.
  • Assist in quarterly inventory and shelf resets.
  • Attend department meetings as scheduled.
  • Abide by all Co-op policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company documents.
  • Keep store orderly and clean.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or supervisory staff.
