About The Position

Senior Assistant works with the Director Center Store Sales. Maintains vendor files, item files and reporting/tracking. This position fields calls and emails from Members and will work closely with the warehouse team and district sales managers within AWG to resolve issues or routes the issue to the appropriate leader for resolution.

Requirements

Proficient/knowledge and understanding of Microsoft programs: Excel, Access, Word.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
High level organization, multi-tasking, great customer service, team oriented, motivator, detail oriented, effective time management

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with SCM, ADW, PeopleSoft software a plus

Responsibilities

Monitors quality of inventory and reacts accordingly.
Communicates with vendor community on excess inventory and any expiration date issues.
Handles communication to field on all residual inventory issues.
Reacts to elimination of discontinued item inventory on a timely basis.
Provides IMD weekly, by item forecasting for AIM and ARG ads.
Monitors promotional inventory and communicates issues as needed to IMD and Director of Center Store Sales.
Provide support for Center Store reporting and special projects.
Assist with completing various projects by performing other duties as assigned.
